Which customs office is responsible for my export?
The export declaration is addressed to the customs office of export. The responsible office is the one where the exporter is established or where the goods are packed or loaded. German customs assigns it by postcode, and the vast majority of postcodes belong to exactly one customs office of export.
Customs office of export or office of exit?
The customs office of export opens the export procedure, usually inland, and releases the goods for export with the ABD and MRN. The customs office of exit ends the procedure where the goods leave the EU, for example at the Swiss border, in a port or at an airport. This search shows the customs office of export.
